Company profile of Sailtron
Sailtron B.V. is part of Radio Holland Group and is the main importer of navigation- and communication systems on behalf of the (mega) yachting-, automotive- and outdoor sports in the Netherlands. Sailtron supplies a range of carefully selected quality products from renowned international electronics manufacturers such as Furuno, Garmin, Tacktick, Sailor and many others. Our comprehensive range allows us, as an independent supplier, to provide every customer with a taylor-made solution.
Such a solution can vary from the supply of equipment, its integration and installation to product management, engineering, shore-based maintenance, training, traffic accounting and service provision. This mission can only be achieved together with the most important stakeholders: our customers, our staff and our suppliers.
History and Future
Sailtron was founded some 35 years ago in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, by the former Managing Director Mr. Paul van Rossum. One year later the company moved to Utrecht, and from 2000 is situated in a very characteristic building in Houten, close to Utrecht and the main motorway A27. In 2007 Mr. John Arends took over as managing director of Sailtron B.V.
Sailtron supplies, integrates and installs advanced high quality equipment for every conceivable electronic application on board. Now there are over 35 people working in different branches, as Sales, Technical Service and Administration and Sailtron is still growing. All the employers are able to give advice in case you want to buy a product, but also if you have technical problems they can be of great help. And, of course, the engineers are able to connect and interface all the products we sell.
As an importer Sailtron aims at the business to business market. This means the shipyards, aqua sport and outdoor shops. Every year Sailtron can be found on different exhibitions in the Netherlands, for example the two HISWA boat shows, Boot Holland at Leeuwarden and METS. Of course clients can be informed of the products throughout the year in the companies showrooms in Houten.
